Yup! All built and ready
Just got conformation that the car is built and awaiting to be transported to Munich Delivery center. Awating pick up on Nov 7th. My iternary goes as follows
Nov 5,6 - Rothenburg
Nov 7, 8 - Pick up car, visit Munich, drive to Unterpinswang, Austria ( Neuschwanstein )
Nov 9,10,11 - Montreux, Switzerland
Nov 12 - Strasbourg, France
Nov 13 - Frankfurt ( and drop off car at Frankfurt)
Nov 14 - Back to the US
Cannot wait to get there. This is my first ED. Now if only the weather cooperates, what a great trip it will be!!!

Congratulations! Out of curiosity, why did you pick Strasbourg on your trip? I went through there on my recent ED trip and was very disappointed. I took the Route du Vin from Colmar to Strasbourg, expecting to stay the night in Strasbourg. In fairness, maybe it's an amazing city if you know your way around - I didn't. I didn't find the charm so I hit the road and ended up in Stuttgart instead. Colmar I liked, Stuttgart I liked.

Just on recommendation of a friend. I was planning to reach Strasbourg on the 12th afternoon, spend the afternoon and next day morning in Strasbourg, leave after lunch for Frankfurt. I have made arrangements to drop off the car on the 13th ( a Sunday) at 6.30pm at Frankfurt ( since my flight back to the US is in the morning on Monday, the 14th) . The plan was to drop my family off to the Sheraton at the airport, drive to the drop-off center and take a cab back to the Sheraton. Any suggestions are welcome.

Any suggestions are welcome. | I would suggest driving to Metz instead of Strasbourg, I liked it much more myself this past weekend. I little further west, though.
