So looking through this forum most people say to avoid paris driving. Is it because it is difficult to drive there or is it because there is a high likelyhood of your car being damaged/scuffed/dinged? I arrive on the night of the 7th and leave on the morn of the 10th. Was planning to drive the car in paris but have some concerns now about damage not driving. Thanks.

Paris is cool, but driving in Paris is hell. And yes, the probability that the car will get dinged is high.

Better to park (carefully) and use the public transport.

Many of the roads are narrow, the Parisians don't exactly know what the stripes on the road are for, and I witnessed several parallel parking by feel!
The terrible traffic alone would be enough to keep me from driving there. If you want to enjoy the city, take mass transit and walk.
