Where to kill a few hours?

Where to kill a few hours?

My wife and I will fly in and pick up the car on 10/14. The flight arrives in Munich at 8 am. We have the same day tour of the Munich factory at 1 pm. It looks like we will have a few free hours in between. I’m looking for any suggestions that don’t include alcohol, as we have to drive to Salzburg the same night.

Thanks!

I don't see where there's that much time to kill.

08:00 Flight arrives
09:30 At Freimann
10:30 Delivery Starts
11:30 Drive away

With a tour at 13:00 (you have to park first so get there early), you have perhaps an hour?

Visit the temporary BMW museum and see the Olympic Village and BMW Tower.

I second the suggestion about the BMW museum - I visited that a couple of years ago (didn't even have a bmw then) and it is quite interesting. The U bahn takes you there - I think Olympic park in the station to get off for that (end of line).

The BMW Museum was closed last Oktober due to the construction of BMW Welt. Does anyone know if the Museum has reopened??

If you read my posting carefully, you'll note I recommended visiting the TEMPORARY BMW Museum, which is in the Olydorf across from the Vier Zyl. Haus.

The Museum will reopen with the rest of BMW Welt. I'll probably be at the opening of course.
