I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at the Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora before. It looks to be a good location in the heart of Rome near the Spanish steps but I want to be sure that I'm able to self-park given everyone says it's very important to maintain control of the keys (I haven't seen that officially from BMW yet, assume it's coming in my "1 week prior" package?).
I'm worried that being in the heart of the city it will be valet parking only so would appreciate feedback from anyone that has stayed there, and also if you thought it was a good location.

Thanks! | I don't know about the parking, but I can tell you about the location. I stayed at a hotel in Rome last summer about a 5 minutes' (max) walk to Spanish Steps, on the Via Del Corso - the Hotel Del Corso. We felt very much in the 'hub' of activity there.
Be prepared to do a lot of walking in Rome. I mean a LOT. Their subway system is not very developed, just two main lines, due to preservation of relics and such. So you'll have to rely on your feet even more so than in other European capitals.
