Have a quick question I hope someone can help out on. I have a confirmed ED pickup date of 11/7 (car is in production, done next Wednesday!  ) and am paying cash. I'm assuming the same 30 days as with financing is required for prepayment, correct? Is that when I sign the PO? And what happens if I don't pay 30 days prior, will the ED date move out and is there some flexibility? Just wondering if I need to chase down my sales guy or not - I haven't heard from him in weeks. I don't mind holding onto the money a few days extra but I sure don't want to jeapordize the delivery date! Thanks for any insight! |

Thanks for any insight! | 30 days is the norm for cash payment and finance deals. 14 days for leases. I think its really 14 days from pick up regardless. Bug your CA next week and maybe he will take your money.

I just paid, ~14 days in advance. We'll see if I get my car on the right day, though!

I paid my first month's lease this week, 30 days in advance. Am I correct to assume that BMW will actually start my lease 14 days prior to my ED on 10/28 instead of 30 days?
Can someone confirm this for me. Thanks.
