Can others drive your car during the ED trip? Will insurance cover if an accident occurs? Going with my cousin and he might drive too...

Tell them at delivery center and they will add him to policy. No Problem No extra Costs. That was one of the first questions I asked because my wife drove the car for a short period of time. They just added her name in handwriting to insurance papers that you leave with from Ed Center.

A buddy went with me to get my 545i...didn't even bother with putting his name on the insurance and he probably tallied more miles on my car than I did. However, seeing how it was pencilled in....

I also believe that you can add drivers at any point while in Europe just by having them sign that form when the need arises, for example you need your cousin to drive home because you happened to have too much bier at dinner....

You are lucky... Had William wrecked your car and his name is not on the ED insurance, your arse would have been up the creek.

ED delivery told me anyone driving the car with my permission was covered. I believed them, but did not see it in writing.
