But true! Picked up my 530xi wagon and it was perfect. How did they know exactly what I wanted ? Uneventful pick up, forgot to sign the bimmerfest book, and got a short, but efficient handover from Gunther.

HOWEVER, took the Munich tour a little while later, and it really blew me away. What a great tour. Everything but the engine shop was operational, and the paint shop was particularly interesting.

The BEST part was that the guide, Manfred (great guide BTW), put ME into the car with the test driver when they put the car through its paces in the "live test" booth. When through all the gears, check horn, brakes, etc. etc. and got the car up to more than 150 kph, and over 5500 RPM. What a blast.

Today I take the Dingolfing tour (rather do this stuff that go to another museum).
