Thanks to all!
Well Festers, it's time for a trip down memory lane for me. It all started back in March when I found this site and posted the question "Why should I purchase the '06 330i?" in the General Automotive section. Thanks for all the great help there! That was followed with test drives at the local dealership, followed by a morning comparing the 330i with the G35 and the A4 at the "Ultimate Driving Experience." The rest of that morning and afternoon we did the "BMW Drive for the Susan B. Komen foundation"(What a blast driving Z4s, 545is, 645is 745is ten miles each around town without a salesperson it the car. )," With all that and with all the help here in the ED forum it's come down to this: "Wheels Up" for takeoff to Munich the day after tomorrow! This post couldn't be made without a special thanks to BeeWang and Me530. I can't count all the questions and problems these two guys have helped me with. I especially remember the advice that Me530 gave me to cancel my ED order once my original car had reached status 150(?) without the comfort seats that we wanted. Also thanks to all Festers who inform and entertain everyday, making us all more knowledgeable about BMWs, about the ED experience or by allowing us the opportunity to "caption this pic" while we wait, wait, wait for the day we can take off for the dream of a lifetime. The dream looks something like this: Arrive----- Depart------ Hotel --------City

Harms visit and drop-off.
29 OCT: AIR FRANCE 1723 LV Munich 1:00pm AR PARIS 2:45pm
10/29 10/31 Hotel du Champ de Mars Paris-Only have two nights and a day here. Plan to soak up some of the Parisian culture and partake of some fine wine and cuisine. 10/31 Home
Time to begin the long wait for the new car to come home. It is guaranteed that I will once again be spending an inordinate amount of time here to carry me through the agony of the wait. I'll try to post from Europe when I can find some internet cafes and such. I hope to post pics when I return, but will need some help learning how to do that. There certainly won't be any lack of support here for that!!!
Bye 'till then,

Oh, and by the way thanks to Jspira, too! | I didn't mean to get all sentimental but I thought your note was very appropriate and heartfelt. It demonstrated the true spirit of online communities which form on the Web, where members interact and help each other - despite the limitations of the online medium.
(p.s. you're welcome)
| | Reply » Thanks to all! | I am very glad you found my advice useful! Have a great time on your trip (I don't doubt for a moment that you will), and I look forward to hearing all about it when you return!
-Matt P.S. you're welcome!

(p.s. you're welcome) | Not to mention the spirit of the BMW owner/driver community in general. What a great group of people. Anybody who stops by the 'fest or picks up a Roundel (just to name a few places) will immediately get a sense of it.
