This morning I was driving behind an E46 coupe in Silverlake (Los Angeles) with no "325" badges and CA Distributor plates on it. There was glue residual on the left and right of the plate as if a Euro plate were removed at some point. So no big deal there, but in front of that car was an E90 also with Distributor plates. So I was one car behind it and trying to get a good look at it, wondering why DST plates on a normal E90? Then going up a hill I noticed that the E90 had dual exhaust coming out and I could see just underneath the car that it was really dual exhaust, with big box, individual mufflers. It didn't seem like an aftermarket system. So I finally was able to get directly behind it and took some pics with my phone. Here's the best ones...Do you think this is the next M3?

Could also be the rumored twin turbo (the possible 335i).

Do you mean M3 e90? A e60 M3 would be very confused about its parents.

E90... E60 is the 5 series.
Looks to me like the 335i that is coming down the pipe. If that's a US bound version then that would be the NA 3.5L version, of course.
