Did anyone here experience the hailstorm in late july during ED. A friend's 545 got damaged. Apparently 74 ED cars got damaged that day. The dealer tells him that it was 13k worth of damage. However, there has been confusion about who pays for the damage because of which his car has spent the last 5 weeks at the VPC.
I was wondering if anyone has received their hail damaged car. Also, does anyone know who to contact at BMWNA who can actually help expedite fixing the car (other than customer service).

and I don't remember any hailstorm. There was a heavy downpour in Munich one night, though, and the car was in the garage at the time.

E36M3er had Hail storm damage. But it was taken care of. Perhaps he can chime in on this.

Did e36M3's car get damaged late July also?

I picked up July 27 and stayed in Munich until the 31, I think I remember one night it rained but didn't see any hail
