I purchased tickets to take the ICE from Frankfurt to Munich the day we arrive in Germany. I printed out the online ticket but my question is, do I have an assigned seat? I don't see any seat information on the online ticket. Is seating first come first serve by class?

Is seating first come first serve by class? | You should certainly look into reserving space, especially if you want to sit together and/or avoid smoking. At least this is the way it works for Euro trains I have been on.

I was just curious if those who have been on the ICE before would chime in.
