Thinking of adding the 18" sport wheels to my 330xi but am concerned with Nov conditions in germany/italy and southern france.... Can anyone offer some weather/conditions/ideas on this..
I have some concern due to the tires being performance but would like to maximize the fun factor in the states (i will have to get dedicated snows of course now)...

thx | early November not too problematic but you will need to be flexible with your plans in case conditions change.

The summer run flat tires will be rock hard if the temp is below 50-55 degrees, which will allow them to transfer more energy to the rims, so be careful about potholes (probably not too many of those in Germany fortunately) and other hazards. They will also have less grip, but the car can still be driven safely in the colder weather. Definitely avoid snowy conditions, and always drive safely for the conditions you encounter.

I did my first ED back in 2000. Nov. 4 was my pick up date. Rained on the day throughout our 9 days and it was on the day we were flying back to LAX. Temps were around 50* everyday. No problem with my 2001 530i w/ sport package. Went to Munich, Salzburg, Innbruck, Fussen, Zurich, Basel, Freiburg, Rothenburg and Frankfurt.
