Day1 , WE ( Me, my wife and my 1yr old daughter) flew into munich on sept 14th evening , We cleared the immigration and went out , Rolf was standing out with bmw placcard, He brought a BMW 520 d , he zipped through the autobahn to our hotel renniasance Marriot in 25 minutes. I cannot believe what a pick up the diesel engine has and how smooth it was. I heard from Rolf that next day all the public transport are going on strike. . Anyhow rolf told me he would give me a lift tomorrow if i cannot find any taxi. The jetlag took us over and we slept for some time and i woke up like 3.00 in the morning
waiting for day break.

Day 2, We got a cab to delivery centre at 8.00AM. As always have to submit my passport to reception and was told to wait in the bistro. had a nice cup of capcunio and some small pizza. Within an hour i was called to sign the paper and there i had the first sight of my black beauty. Absolutely stunning. Went arond her in Awe and Admiration thinking what can this black monster do. So we get down to using the NAV thanks to Beewang for the DVD and we spend about another hour going through the idrive and Nav. After that we start our journey to Venice Italy. Atleast for 200miles took it light on my driving. The car felt very good and stable . you get the feeling you will never go wrong with this car and so much confidence that you could pull if you want and stop if you like. That is a great feeling. The exhaust note was music to my Ears especially when you rev match and downshift.The Nav and i drive was amazing.

Day3, sight seeing in venice

Day4, Driving to Rome sarting at 3.00 AM in morning to catch before the vatican closes on saturday. That drive was the drive, especially driving from bologona to firenz all hilly tract . Absolute wonderful drive, I think it is a norm for all german cars to rip through fast in autostrada. i saw porsche, Audi,Merc and Bmw they always drive in the left most lane and the speed they go through is astounding. You have to be constantly be looking at the rearview mirror becoz out of no where a car will be behind you flashing the headlight.

Day 5, Rome sight seeing and driving in Rome is the craziest thing to do but thanks to the Nav it was able to get me around.

Day 6, Driving back to munich from rome , rain near firenz and thank god for the Adaptive xenon which was able to light our way through the rain and the Fog. The sound system is very good. So after sitting in traffic jam near bologona. I let the car loose , i took it too 210 km/hr in the autostrada near brenner pass. There was a bmw 520 d in front of me , a audi and merc behind . Everybody were fired up it was like video game driving. The car was stable and mocked me to go faster.

Day 7, On the morning i took the car for vaccum and then to the washer for washing the car. They have such a advance washer system felt as if it is a like taking a delivery of new car. So by this time i have run 1200 MILES. Of to harms for dropoff and cab was arranged to the airport
