I’m picking up my new 2006 BMW 330i from the dealer on Saturday, 24SEP05 after its six week journey from Bremerhaven in the belly of the Grus. I want to share some pictures and thoughts.

- Traveling through Austria in a new BMW fulfilled one of my top ten things I wanted to do in my life and it exceeded all my expectations.
- As my fourth BMW it exceeds my other three in every dimension and it has an extremely high coolness factor.
- The navigation system and iDrive is worth every extra penny.
- It was very gratifying to see bystanders while driving through Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna who would indicate, by turning their heads and smiling, that they were witnessing a new, beautiful 2006 BMW 330i for probably one of the first times.
- The BMW Munich Factory tour is outstanding considering I was witnessing the manufacturing process which created my own car.
- The absolute biggest pain with ED was agonizing over where I was going to park my new baby in the very tight urban city spaces.
