I just took redilvery 7 weeks after delivery in Munich. At redelivery I wasn't given anything about assist, except a postcard that I got in the mail telling me I had to register within 6 weeks of delivery. I called them and they said I had to go to a BMW dealer to sign up for it. They ended up emailing me a PDF that didn't work, so then they faxed me the application. They tell me that even though I am signing up now and have not had assist for the past 7 weeks and that my car has been in Europe and on a ship until a week ago, that it will only be active until a year from my pickup date in Germany..
Is this right?

They told me in Germany that I couldn't use it in Europe and that it doesn't work. I tried it once there and it definately didn't work. If they make you go through a big activation application then how can they say that it was active before you filled out the paperwork!?!

I thought there was supposed to be a form you filled out, because I got a postcard in the mail saying I had to active within 6 weeks of purchase..I called them and they said I had already denied coverage..and now I have to fax an application in and then press SOS..maybe I will just press SOS tonight and see what happens
