I did not get the Active steering option for my Nov 7 ED delivery. After reading various posts, I want to get the option and will talk to the dealer today. Does anyone have experience on adding to the order and whether it will delay the ED date?

You have your date set, so adding something prior to production beginning should not delay your delivery. Talking to your dealer early is the right thing to do.

Changing an option for an ED car is just like changing an option for a regular US-delivery car. They'll cut you off when its too late to change, so there is nothing to worry about delaying your delivery, unless you cancel the order and put in a new one....

Spoke to my dealer who said that nothing can be done since the order has already gone through. Should I insist?. Is it his way of avoiding paperwork?.
Jspira, I was told that the car will be built by October 28th. So I guess it will be the last week of Oct??
