One year in service... Which one??

I picked up my 330Ci early last May, dropped it off a week later, then it was (re)delivered to me here on July 5. I don't put many miles on the car and I will probably only have 6 - 7000 mikes on it when the one-year anniversary comes around. Which brings up my question.... For cars with less thatn 15000 miles at the one year anniversary, BMW will perform basic service (change oil, etc) at the one one year mark; so when is my one year up?? In May or in July?? Is the one year counted from the initial delivery in Munich, or the (re)delivery in the US??

Thanks

I had the same question and my dealership used the re-delivery date for the one year oil service, July 5 in your case.

I believe that's correct. I think your warrant also starts on the re-delivery date.

No!! The one year anniversary for your ED car should be the from the one year date of your original Munich pick-up date. Reason: that is the same day that the clock on your 4 yrs Full-service as well as Warranty begins.

On the otherhand, BMW will allow your car for the "1yr annual service" after 10 months. You do NOT have to wait for the full 12 months. FYI.

cheers,

Yep, it seems odd (wrong?) but that's how mine looks...

I had the same question and my dealer told me it is one year from the production date.
