i just wanted to know: if i purchase the car tomorrow, when will i be able to pick it up?
does the buyer get to choose the date or the dealer? if it is the case that the buyer gets to choose the date, then what is the min the buyer must wait for the car to be built and ready?

It depends on the model... but I think you are REALLY pushing it at 5 weeks. Does that answer your question??
Now... let me take a further step and say that.. if you are flexible and you wouldn't mind a car that someone had flaked on ... oh... let say its a 760Li and the buyer had freaked out when he got the invoice at the last minute and decided to bail-out on teh car and that car suits your needs. You can actually take that car in about 2 weeks.
