Late to the Party
Hey all, great forum. I picked up my E90 330i (Manual, SG, ZSP, ZPP, Heated Seats) back in early July and had great experience. My wife and I kept a blog to share our experiences with friends and family while we were there. As such, it's heavy on travel experience and light on vehicle content.
I thought I'd go ahead and share it now. Sorry I didn't think of this sooner, but better late than never I suppose!

Our itinerary was basically this...
Thursday, July 7 ** Depart IAD for MUC
Friday, July 8 ** Pick up the car, stay the night in Munich.
Saturday, July 9 ** Drive to Venice in the AM
Sunday, July 10 ** Venice
Monday, July 11 ** Drive to the Lake Como / Bellagio area
Tuesday, July 12 ** Day trip to Milan
Wednesday, July 13 ** More time at the lake
Thursday, July 14 ** Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Friday, July 15 ** Munich drop off
Saturday, July 16 ** Munich, etc
Sunday, July 17 ** Depart MUC for IAD

Very nice writeup, cpcollin! One of the best thus far that I've stumbled across.
Would you still recommend a fellow ED'er bringing in a new BMW into Italy after your experience? From what I read, Lake Como and the surround lake villages seem to be very appealing to me and I'm rather tempted to modify my iternary for next year's ED.
