Iternary feedback
I am picking up my 550i on Nov 7th, and driving stright to Unterpinswang, Austria (close to Fussen) to stay at a working farm ( just for the experience). Wondering what the weather is like during that time. From there it is then onto to Montreux, Switzerland for a couple of nights, then upto Heidelberg and eventually stay and drop off at Frankfurt. After I have read some forums, I seriously doubt if this whole trip will be an enjoyable experience given the weather. Any comments from those who have made trips during the same time?

Just a heads up, you may have trouble from customs on your return to the US if they find out you spent time on a farm. Your weather may not be that great, but hey, you'll be in the land of bier, sausage, and BMW's!

Thanks in advance! | Might run into you Hawk, I'm moving my date up to 11/7 and am picking up a 550i as well. Might run into you again in Fussen, as I'm heading out to see Neuschwanstein, but don't expect to see me on the working farm! 
I doubt the weather will be real nice but as long as I don't see snow in the passes I'll be happy.

Hope the impression of the working farm is not that I will be working on it. It is a functional farm that doubles as a B&B place. Going there for the Austrian farm experience (had to do something different). Hope the kids will enjoy seeing some animals since I am travelling with my young ones. Send me a PM of your details and so will I and we can try and hook up.
About the weather, that is my concern too. Well, we will see.

If you are staying at the Gutshof zum Schluxen you will have a great time. I stayed there in June, one of the best places on the whole trip.
