Gas Guzzler Tax
Do you have to pay the Gaz Guzzler tax when you purchase a car for European Delivery? I think that since you are importing a used vehicle, that you don't have to pay this tax.

Good question, but I am almost certain that in this case, just like every other case that I've come across, its just like buying a regular new car, you still have to pay all the taxes and fees.

You're not really importing a used car, so far as customs/duty/safety is concerned.

You aren't going to avoid the guzzler tax. What really sucks is that it is specified as an option, so you also pay sales tax on the guzzler tax.
