Production Number Error?

Hi all: I received my production number from the sales person yesterday, but when I go to bmwusa.com owners circle to create an account, I get the following error:

Your Production Number does not match our database.
Please check the information and submit your request again.

Should I just wait a couple days or did the sales guy give me the wrong number?

Call your SA and confirm the production number. You could also the 1-800 number for BMW NA and speak to an associate, maybe they can help you out as well. Its possible that all you need to do is give it a day or two for Owners Circle to update.

Called BMW NA, production number was for a car from March

Called my sales guy and he gave me the wrong number. Got the right number, logged in, and now I can go check the status everyday like everybody else here
