I plan to arrive in Paris in the evening, too late to drop off the car. We fly home from CDG, so I plan to drop off the car rather than dealing with Paris traffic/parking for the week. Will it be hard for me to find parking for that one night? Having never been I have no idea what to expect...
Thanks

Thanks | Check with your hotel. Most major hotels have parking, albeit valet

Thanks | Here's what we did: Got into Paris late in the afternoon and went straight to the airport, got a hotel (Do not recommendend the Hyatt as it's strile and very expensive. There's some cool places right next to it including the F1 Hotel and a goofy French chain place to eat which was OK, right in the parking lot) they all shared the same lot and it was ok, had to pay, but safe. Dropped the car off the next morning and took the Air France bus (TTTransit will give you a ride) to the Arc de Triomph and then a cab (A cab station is 50 meters away) to our hotel. Then cabbed back to the airport after 4 days in Paree...about E40. I recommend this itenerary, it really worked for us. Don't try driving in Paris, it's not worth it. You get a pretty good tour from the bus and the cab rides are...memorable.

They have underground parking for 20 Euro's and there is a subway stop 20 ft away which will take you to Champs Elysees in 10 mins. This is much better than the over priced Concorde Lafeyette where I stayed in a previous stay.

There is a Holiday Inn Express right by the airport. It's new and very nice, reasonably priced and has free parking and a suttle to the airport which leaves every half an hour.
