I realize this may have to be factored into my itinerary planning: If I have a Monday a.m. flight out of a drop off city (tentatively Vienna at 10:55) am I going to be able to drop off my car early enough that day to still make the flight. If not, is a Sunday drop off possible, or will I have to plan a drop off by Friday p.m.?

Try calling the Harms location that you want to use for the drop-off. You can probably make arrangements, I've read they'll do weekend's at certain locations for a fee.

You may also be able to fill out hte paperwork in advance, and then leave the car on Sunday or early morning (like a rental car). Of course, you'll need to arrange that too.

If your dropping the car off in Munich, call Harms and tell them you want to drop off the car after hours. The paper signing takes 10 minutes and your done. Also, bring the 2nd master key with you to give to them. If you need a ride, ask them for the number for "Taxi Team" and they will pick you up at the bottom of the ramp. There are no public phones in the back of this industrial park, so call before you leave. Make sure you specify "Harms in Garching" if someone else calls for you. The idiot at the City Hilton sent our driver to BMW in Frottmaning.
