 Reunited with my 750i

*whew* everybody together with me now: deep breath in.... .... .... and breath out

car made it into dealer yesterday at 3pm, but wasn't enough time for them to work it. so picked it up today. a few things:

1) little curb cratch on the rim. wasn't there when i dropped it off. dealer filed a claim.

2) all the repair done at the factory are amazing, can't see anything at all

3) both front and rear plates made it with the car and front bumper is hole-free (will be driving around with my german plates for a while)

4) and here is the most amazing thing. i am not super excited about the car as i thought i would be. the car looked SUPER AMAZINGLY HOT in europe. people in italy would scream "bella, bella" ... and sitting in a parking lot in a strip mall in South California the car looks.. uhm.. not so hot. so it is not the car, but what surrounds it. i am gonna export it back and move to europe

And finally i want to thank the cast of bimmerfest ED forum for all the words of wisdom and support when i needed it most. I could never do this without you. See you again in 5

No, no, no, it is the car. You must be having a delusion. There are certainly plenty of great locations in So Cal to "showcase" that beautiful Bimmer.
