I noticed that the Head-Up Display (HUD) option is now available for those 2006 e60s equipped with Navi. This was not an option I saw when initially ordering my auto in late July / early August.
My ED is scheduled for 9/21, is it possible to have my car equipped with the HUD? (I have already ordered the Navi)

Your car is almost certainly built right now. They typically build the cars a month out. Even if it is 3 weeks they may be building it right as we speak. That being the case, the order is frozen about two weeks before that, so that no more changes are possible after that point (known internally as status 150). You'll get the car as ordered.
There will be many other goodies coming out soon or soon enough, and those wont be on your car either. As we all know, its the name of the technology game. You can get HUD-2 on your next car!

I tried to get Comfort Access, which is a September options, like a month ago and while the car is still on order and it was not possible..
So, better luck next time for both of us

My ED is confirmed for 9/29 and as of yesterday my car was still listed as being scheduled for production with no set production date. Should I be worried? I ordered Comfort Access so I know it won't be built until September, but shouldn't the build week be set by now?

It's getting into that 'under a month to go' phase, so at least some of it is the excitement and anticipation setting in

Your car can be built in 4-5 days worth of time, from sheet metal to finished car, so you don't have anything to worry about!
