 Is tracking your ship necessary?

Seriously I just did my ED and dropped off on August 9th. I don't care what boat my car is on, where it is now, or what the weather is like in the Atlantic Ocean. Is tracking your car really necessary? Should I be feeling more anxiety than I do now, not knowing where my car is?

I don't mean to poke fun at others, but I think of tracking the ship my car is on as a bit unnecessary compared to my other priorities in my life. Stressing by calling your SA, emailing bmwna, ect to see where your car is?

Wait for your letter and it will tell you when it is suppose to be in, now you can plan accordingly in terms of when you will get your car, adding on additional accessories as I am ect.

But come on tracking your car?

Should I do a background check on the guy who is suppose to be detailing my car upon redelivery? What if my ship occasionally cannot deal with the ocean currents and loses a knot or two somewhere south of Iceland? I might have to re arrange my schedule an hour or two upon redelivery!!!!!!

We don't have to stress that much, although it might be fun to see where your ship is, to try and notify anyone and everyone how much you are stressing because you don't know where your car is exactly in terms of GPS coordinates? come on

Should I be frantic or nervous? I'm thinkin nope.

Of course it's necessary! Are you insane?!? lol
Actually I imagine that is more geared for those of us who have yet to see our car and did not choose ED. I did track it online, but never called my dealership except to get the ship name it was on. Now I can't wait to pick it up in South Carolina this thursday!

Its a crying shame you weren't here when I had a 4 page thread waiting for my re-delivery.

Maybe to some tracking their car is a big priority..who cares. Someone today posted the movements of the hudson leader, the boat my car is on, I actually found that quit interesting. I think it's safe to say we all have a passion for our cars so perhaps the people who are tracking their cars are just a little excited. What's wrong with that? jjeeezzz

I disagree.. It is more torture to the EDers... once you drove your Bimmer how can you wait for 6~8 weeks drivning your old fart machine (mine is a dodge neon 2000)

If your current car is a cool car already, you mighr be less anxious...

But come on... This is like saying you don't need to check on you baby if your wife is pregnant and will jast plan to be there in 9 month.. Your car is your new baby, and that ship is just knocked up with a bunch of them

Some people get obsessed about redelivery.....and others start threads questioning the sanity of such behavior.

Whatever.
