The planning goes on. How much time do I need to figure at the delivery center? More specifically, how late can I arrive and still make the 1:15 tour at the Munich factory? I plan on being quite jet lagged.

I plan on being quite jet lagged. | Depends on how many cars are ahead of you. Just arrive early and you'll be fine. Could be 1 hour or could be 1 hour wait + delivery.

On the other hand we got there at 2:45pm on a Thursday in June 05 and we were the ONLY delivery left to process that day. It took about 30 minutes before Bernhard was ready to hand me the keys. That said it took an hour anyway because we were chatting about Austria for half an hour and about other things not related to the car.

It all depends on the crowd before you. I'm told that Mondays and Fridays are their busiest days as well as a week before a holiday.
Case in point, we arrived on a Wednesday (Easter was coming on Sunday), and it was pretty busy and probably took around 2 hours total.

I plan on being quite jet lagged. | I went straight from the airport which took us about 1hr on the train. My flight arrived at 8am and was out of customs with my luggage by 9am. I was in and out of the delivery center within 2 hrs and it was a busy day for them, they had over 30 deliveries. You also should try to stay as busy as possible and try to make it awake the latest you can so you can adapt to the time quickly. I cheated and took a 1hr nap and woke up with a massive headache. I was beat!

I overslept and did not arrive at the Delivery Center on a Monday until 10:OO AM.  I was out by 11:30 AM.
