 Airport to Hotel Jedermann

Looking for opinions as to preferred method, for a family of 4, to get to the Hotel Jedermann from the airport. What should you expect to pay for a taxi vs 4 train tickets?
Also, have an 11:30 AM departure - better to drop off the night before, or is there enough time in AM to drop off then check in at airport?? Also, given departure time - what time should one expect to arrive, latest but safely, at the airport?
Thanks for any thoughts!

Take the S-Bahn to Hbf (main tran station). I don't think you need tix for 4, I recall there was a "partner" tix where 2 adults and a child can ride. Ask the ticket booth (before you go down to catch the S-bahn) what is teh best way to go. Jerdermann is a short 5 mins walk from Hbf. If you get lazy, you can catch the trolly... but I forgot the trolley number.

I love their authentic bavarian breakfast as all pensions, the price is included.

Re: drop-off, sure... why not.. why incurr another night of paid parking at the "hulk" garage Drop it off and take a cab to MUC. Unless you want to carry some Euro's w/ you at depature time, be sure to ask the front desk to call a cab that would take credit card

Hope this helps,

beewang

I would not drop off until the day of your flight. From drop off at Harms to the Munich airport is probably 20 to 30 minutes. The drop off process itself only took me about 30 minutes. Altogether, I would plan on 1.5 hours between the time you arrive at the drop off in Munich until you have to be at the airport. I got through the airport very quickly--it took about 20 minutes from the time I arrived until I got out to the gate and I had to check luggage. This was at 7 am on a weekday. I sat in the airport for two hours before my flight time. You probably want to leave more than 20 minutes but I doubt that it would take more than 90 minutes at the airport. All told, get to the drop off at 8:30--9:00 am and you'll still probably be at the airport an hour to an hour and a half before your flight time.

If your flight is late morning or later, this is definitely the way to go.
