 Audi drivers

Just got back from my ED. One thing that I couldn't avoid noticing was the attitude of Audi drivers in Europe. They always seemed to speed when seeing a bmw (me) in the vicinity. I didn't notice similar traits among Merc drivers though. It came across to me that the Audi folks had some kind of complex - and that they are trying to console themselves by showing that their car drives faster than a Bimmer!!

Anyone else felt the same?

I had an S4 Avant pass me going at least 160mph on the Autostrada outside Milan. It was radical!

I agree 100%

All the Audi's I saw on the autobahn were in the left lane. Passat diesel wagons also seemed to be going very fast. More power to them!

Maybe all the BMW drivers are too busy fiddling with the I-drive and therefore can't drive that fast.

Auto Bild once did an article about what type drivers drive what cars. All different sorts drove Audis which made them difficult to categorize.
