I was told that every car in Germany must have an emergency road kit. Does it come with the car or do I need to buy it? Does the BMW sell it?
Thanks!

Thanks! | Don't worry, it comes with the car. If you go to Austria or some other countries, you'll need a reflective vest, which you can buy at almost any gas station.

Just make sure you take it with you when you drop off or it will be gone when you take redelivery.

When you take your first-aid kit back with you, try and pack it in your checked luggage as there's a pair of scissors in it. I was with a friend last week who ED'd at the same time as me. They actually let us take them on board but it was an unnecessary few minutes at Frankfurt airport security while they determined that the scissors were not a threat. Worryingly they let mine straight through but made him open the kit to examine the scissors -- not a lot of consistency in the German version of the TSA apparently.
Enjoy your trip, it's an awesome experience.
