Thanks all for your help, this board rocks with important ACCURATE information!
I placed my order today for a
330i
Manual
Jet Black
Sport Pack
Heated Seats
Have a couple days to decide if I want to pony up for leather or not, need to go to the dealer and see for myself

I had to call about 8 dealers today within a 4 hour drive to get the price over ED invoice I was looking for ($xxx). 7 of the dealers said "we dont want your business, this is a BMW and we dont discount like that". I told them they have a right to sell for whatever they want and I'll just go down the road to another dealer who does! Some of the dealers didnt even understand ED, so that was a difficult conversation as well. My pitch was very simple: I'm looking to ED a 330i with xxx options, the invoice price for the car and options is xxx + destination, plus dealer profit of xxx. I'll give you a deposit today if you'll accept my offer. Couple dealers said 'no' on the spot, couple called back and said 'no', and 1 dealer called back and said 'YES' (although he did add a "processing fee" of $170, which is ok since the total dealer profit is still under my acceptable amount).
He's calling back to confirm a possible delivery "week", then we'll get the paperwork going and should have a delivery date within a week.
Now I have to research the "preferred" journey of those who have done this. Many more questions to come
