Today it was a beautiful, warm, sunny day in Munich... a perfect day to pick up a loaded 330i, Monaco Blue, black leather!
I arrived at the delivery center around 8:40 am, and the lady at reception said it would be one hour wait. To the bistro I went, where I waited and continued perusing the PDF owners' manual (I know, I know... nerd!

). One hour later, the same lady came upstairs, I signed all the papers, and I was on my way downstairs to check out the new ride! The center was pretty crowded, but by the time I got my car, it seemed strangely deserted...
The lady showed me some features very briefly (no Bernhard, I am sorry to say -- he was helping out another couple picking up a 6 series). I asked her to help me pair my Sony Ericsson K700i with the car's Bluetooth, and she struggled a bit... so what did she do? Call Bernhard from her mobile phone!! We got it paired and
voila! Full signal available...
She asked me to "take my time" playing with the car, but lo and behold, another 3er was being pulled into my stall, so I was unceremoniously asked to take a hike... So I punched an address in the Nav and off I went, to the start of my ED adventure... Frankfurt to pick up my wife, then on to Heidelberg, Munich, Austria (Salzburg area), Prague, and then back to Frankfurt to drop off and fly back to the US.
These photos are pretty craporific, but I still hope you enjoy them (my newly-purchased Canon SD-400 did not arrive home in time for my departure -- my wife is bringing it though, so future photos should be much, much better).
Sure, a bit rushed, but it was still a great experience. I almost felt like I had already been here without having ever set foot in the place... thanks to bimmerfest... A big "Thank you" to Beewang and all the other posters for all your insights and tips and tricks!
As my journey continues over the next two weeks, I hope you will indulge me as I post more images of my ED tour.
Cheers!
