I had scheduled an ED pickup for the 15th, which turns out to be a German holliday. When I called earlier in the week to make sure all was OK, I was told the pickup has actually been scheduled for the 16th. I was puzzled, and the person I talked to was unaware of the holliday, so he re-scheduled me back to the 15th.

Later, German friends told me about the holliday. Today I called again, and scheduled very early pickup for the 16th, as I need to head out to Plzen and Prague on that same day.

All this is just to inform anyone scheduled for the 15th about the problem. I seem to remember seeing some such folks in a thread dedicated to pickup dates, but I can't find this thread at the moment. Having a slow net connection here doesn't help. It appears that hollidays aren't always noted in the ordering process. On the positive side, folks at the delivery center are very forthcoming and helpful.
