This may be a stupid question, please don't flame me. Its my first ED.
My E90 is scheduled for ED pickup on 9/22. Would this be considerd a September Delivary?
I found on the E90 forums that the September production cars will have MP3 features on the NAV equipped cars and I can also add comfort access ..

The dealer should have provided you with your production date as part of a normal course of business. Normally ED cars are built 4 weeks prior to pick-up. Typically the factory shuts down in August so the question is does get produced before they shut down. My Oct. 13 ED car was produced the first week of September.

I recently ordered a Sept production car, partly for the Comfort Access feature. I was able to get a Sept 30 ED pickup, but I gather that was pushing it. I hear BMW likes to have some time after production before you pick up in Munich, so you might be cutting it very close. I would contact the dealer and have him/her get a definitive answer from BMW for you. Please let us know...

Contacted the dealer... Told me that the cas is scheduled for production the 33 week of the year.. Which is second week of August  , you guys were correct...
So no comfort acccess for me 
Q. would the MP3 support in the CD with NAV that would be available in the september production be a s/w upgrade? or would it reqire h/w?

Its unlikely that is going to be a SW upgrade only. You can ask though once you get back! 
There was a Nav/Bluetooth upgrade planned for March builds. My car was built in February for a March delivery. So, I didn't get it, though I knew about it ahead of time. That's the breaks of course... something new will always be awaiting... just like for your computer, stereo, plasma tv, DVD player... ad infinitum.

I don't get why you won't have comfort access if your car is built in august. If you ordered CA, then your car won't be built until CA is ready.
