Hi
Is there a optimum route from munich to bellagio (italy) avioding swiss border since i donot have a swiss visa. I would also prefer a scenic route if it is going to set me by an hour or two would be fine.

My wife and I went down through Switzerland to get to Bellagio and had more trouble getting into Italy than we did getting into or out of Switzerland. They looked at our passports, inspected the ED registration documentation, and let us pass. The Italian border guards didn't quite know what the ED paperwork was about, but they let us pass anyway. No Swiss visa required.

Yeah. There are not many countries that Switzerland requires an entry and exit visa for.
What passport do you hold?

I don't know details for other places, but I do know that no one was at the custom gate entering italy south of the Grossglocker nor at the north end of lake Como heading into Switzerland (early Sun. morn.)

But then, you may find even better view through Dolomites, perhaps.
