Hi All,
I'm so excited right now!!! I just found out I have a September 23rd pickup date scheduled for my new 330i with NAV/Prem Pkg/Sprt Pkg/Cold W Pkg/6-spd man/etc/. I read through the (now locked) Euro Delivery navigation thread and noticed that there are a bunch of different CD and DVD formats supported by the various NAV packages that have been offered in BMW's over the past few years. Given that I'll be in Germany within 2 months, I'm trying to figure out where I can pick up a Euro NAV DVD that will work in my car. I've looked through the new E90 brochure and I can't tell which version of the NAV system this new car has. I would be very interested in hearing from someone who has the new E90 325i/330i with NAV, especially if they used their NAV system while in Europe!
What version of the Euro NAV DVD's should I be looking for on Ebay?
Does anyone have a Euro DVD for rent that is compatible with my vehicle?
Which countries does the DVD cover? I'm planning on visiting Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and possibly Italy.

Read the above linked post gives you all the ino on renting a nav disk.
Here are the part numbers etc, for the nav disk (not recommended to do ebay)

The western europe/ europe disk will cover the countries you listed.
I got all this info from past posts and the search feature.... there are a lot more posts and info.
Good luck ( a new disk is about 170 from navteq or bmw)

When I was there last summer with my E46, I used BMW Road Map Europe high 2004-2, which now isn't needed for 3 series. That is not clean in Beewang's post, as the post looks like it was last edited a long time ago and is not up to date based on your info.

The High version does not work for the new 3 series. Only the Professional will work.
