From first contact with dealer to signing ED documents was exactly 5 weeks, with 1 week remaining before I take delivery in Germany.
Most communication by email, sent the final papers overnight with a return overnight envelope included, signed it up and I'm off to Munich.

BEST WAY TO BUY A CAR EVER | Same here. Everything was via phone and e-mail. Papers for signing were sent by overnight delivery.
I only met my CA a week before departure for Germany. The only reason I met him was because he sent me a gift certificate that I could only use at his dealership and it would expire while I was in Europe. So I took a 100 mile road trip.
