Does bmw give a full tank of gas upon delivery? if not, how much is in it and is there a gas station close to delivery spot?

Yes, you get a full tank. (I got one from my local dealer also! ) Just bring your credit card and drive like you don't get a chance to drive on the autobahn very often, ie: enjoy it, and keep filling that baby up, and don't think of how much it costs!

Thanks e36M3r - I did try to pull up your pics (the one with 3 miles in the odometer) to check the fuel level in the pic. That portion was not covered in the picture.

Yes, the key was off when those pictures were taken, so none show the fuel guage. It was full though, and they are quite proud of that since fuel is so expensive. Bernhard even told me a joke about it... how do you double the value of the old car you are selling. Fill the petrol tank of course.
This picture here shows the milage at drop-off after I put in about $800+ dollars in petrol. Also, I only had 11 miles to go, - vapors - on drop-off. But they only put in 6 miles from drop-off to dealer, including my trip back to the Munich factory for new hood paint and a new windshield.

I love how we can order a $60,000 car, take a trip to Europe, and still worry about paying for a tank of gas

Here's a pick up picture... 2.7 miles on the clock, full tank of gas.
