 Nov. 8th is the pickup day!! 330xi/standard/sp/cw/assist/bluetooth/saph. black/black/alum Now for a couple of questions i hope someone can help me with: 1) do i have to fly luftansa or can i get my own flights? 2) if i get my own flights - do i just show up that morning at the pickup location? 3) when dropping off the car - how do i get back to the hotel? (my cost?) Any info appreciated.. thx |

1) You can get your own flights, but only Lufthansa has the "buy one get one free" deal.
2) In all cases, you just show up that morning at the pickup location with your passport.
3) You can take a cab or a bus/subway. The price of a cab depends on where your hotel is!

thx | 1. Yes, you have to use the German National Carrier to do ED, no other airline is allowed.
2. Lufthansa is interconnected with the BMW and will advise the ED center of your pending arrival thus preparing the red carpet and paparazzi as you glide thru the doors.
3. Lufthansa will send a limo to pick you up and take your choice of destination.

1.) Flying Lufthansa is just one option. There are many ways of getting to Munich.
2.) You still need to go to the Delivery Center to get the car. It's not like they bring it to the airport (well, that would be nice too, if they did but...)
3.) I recommend dropping off the car en route to the airport and then taking a taxi to the airport. Since there can be heavy traffic (Stau) on nearby roads, there are a few side roads your Taxifahrer will hopefully know so you can avoid traffic.

It looks like the luftansa deal is not really a deal... i have found flights for 600 and some people post that an ED trip is 1200 (2 for 1).. Anyone had this happen or can confirm?

thx | Call Lufthansa via the special 800 number and have them quote you a price for the trip. They can hold the reservation for two weeks I think.
Then, check with expedia, travelocity and orbitz to see the competition.
