Attention, fellow festers. If you have a pre-reservation or order for an ED submitted by July 20, you will be price protected if you pick up by November 30, 2005. Any orders received after July 20 will be subject to to the new pricing increase of 1.4% of the base MSRP. For information on which cars will be getting the price increase here's the link to my thread: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=104712 . Good luck! |

What qualifies as a pre-order? I am looking for an ED pickup in late October, and was going to setup ED this weekend. I guess I'll have to call my dealer to confirm, but I wonder if the dealer has to contact the ED dept in order to qualify as a preorder.
From what I gathered on the board already, it might be too early for the ED dept to accept orders for October.
Also..how does the 1.4% affect invoice? Would I expect to see a 1.4% rise there too?

I think you might be a tad late if you don't already have a slip of paper showing your order dated by tomorrow the 20th.
I believe the 1.4% increase is hitting the invoice too.
