My I picked my car this evening after the bumper replacement by Spectrum in Irvine, they were amazing. The car looks just like when I first saw it in Munich.

It is so wiered that this dream machine that took me through the streets of Rome is here at home on my driveway, it is wiered to pick up a car that is new which has the seat memory adjusted the way I like it....

Glad to hear that your baby was restored to good as new condition. 
I don't recall seeing you post any stories about your trip to Italy. It would be interesting to hear about driving in the land of small cars.

Congrats, man! Gald it all worked out for you.
My ED car is still NJ being fixed from shipping damage, that I'm not 100% sure is. Been at the VDC for 16 days now.

Sorry to hear this, they must disclose to you if the car was damaged and to what extent.
The VDC will not hold the car unless it has a safety problem or it was clearly damaged during shipping. In my case I think that the VDC did not see the damage and let it go through, or the trucking company did the damage. When you get the car take it to a body shop and have them inspect the car with a micrometer to make sure that none of the panels were painted, if they were it does diminish the calue of the car and you can argue some money compensation or you do not have to accept the car.
You can call European Delivery and talk to them, they have the power to call the DVC and give you a priority, Ithink that the name of the lady you need to talk to is Kelly or Kerrie

Thanks for the tip. I had called ED and they said that the dealer has to make the inquiry. I keep getting told that they're sending emails to the VDC and not getting responses regarding my car. Certainly not getting anything close to the "warm & fuzzy" feeling here. They did find out about rear end damage, and potentially something else, which I was not given details on.
As far as full disclosure, I'm sure they will.. I don't think there is a timeline that requires them to tell me in X amount of days.

VDC or not it is YOUR car and you can insist on seeing the damage yourself and you can insist on deciding where it will be repaired, at the very least the dealer should give you a loaner. In the past BMW was sued for not disclosing paining the cars.
