Lift off in less then 24 hours

I am so excited.

Finally, the day has arrived! I will be leaving tomorrow evening for ed. Due to less vacation time, it is a very short stay. I will be in Munich on sunday afternoon. Monday morning I will be picking up the car at 7.30 (cant wait to get my hands on it). Go straight to Neuschwanstein castle hopefully that should be a good drive! (suggestion), then visit Nurumberg, return the same night and go to Marienplatz.

I have a plane to catch next day at 11:30 am. Do you think I would have enough time to drop the car at (Munich) Harms and make to the airport on time?? please need help on this.

I would really appreciate any suggestions for my travel plans. Thanks

You may want to go to Harms when you get your car to do the paperwork so you can drop it of early (before opening) Tuesday morning if you want to.

or make sure they order a taxi for you as soon as you get there (Harms)...you're not going to have time to use the "bahns" to get to the airport.

I did the same thing. Stright to Fussen on the first day directly from the pick up center. we stayed right in hoenschaungau (sp?) which was cool, we could see both castles from our room but there is not much to do. Car got locked into a the little parking lot next to the hotel and we couldn't get it out till morning.

any way drive is a good one for your first day. Have fun.
