 Financing interest rates

In two weeks I have to pay for my car. I applied with Capital One through Costco and I got 4.94% for 60 months interest. Has anybody gotten a lower interest rate, if so with whom?

4.44%

from My credit Union (Vista FCU). Another bank offerd me the same but then freaked out when they found out it was an ED.

My credit union (4.49%) also freaked out when I told them about ED. They suggested going with BMW and then once the car is back in the US refinance with the credit union.

The Patelco credit union site indicates their current rate for auto loans up to 60 months is 4.2%.

You do realize that financing at 4.2 versus 4.94 is going to save you a whopping $1000 on a $50K car over 60 months...

Frankly, I would go with the one that causes you less headaches and makes things easier for you.
