Parking at Rome's Airport (FCO)
Hi,
I'm planning a quick round-trip, puddle-jumper from Rome to Sicily. Of course, I won't be taking my new Bimmer to Sicily, as I've heard its the worst thing I could possibly do. Anyways, I thought an option for my car was to leave it at the airport during my trip to Sicily. Has anyone ever heard of problems parking at FCO or any other Italian airport?
If there is an alternative parking spot that is more safe and secure, I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Also, if you have recommendations for hotels with secure, self-parking, that would be appreciated as well. It would be for two adults and two kids.
Thanks, LAN

I stayed at Hotel Delle Muse in Parioli, it is a great small hotel with great service, ask the manager Giorgio to park in front of the hotel, I had my car parked there for 6 nights and days, the hotel is very reasonably priced and there is also a closed parking lot that costs 16 Euros per day if you do not get the front spot. P.M me and I will give you more information, their web site is www.hoteldellemuse.com Say hello to Valentina for me (Gil from Los Angeles with the black 750Li BMW), the cute girl at the front desk. I love Rome and I wish I was there now.

I stayed at a neat hotel on Via del Corso, called (appropriately) Hotel del Corso, very close to the Spanish Steps. But I'm not sure I ever saw any place I would have wanted to park...streets are way to narrow in that area.
Don't miss Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain, particularly at dusk. Have a great time!
