ED, deliver to your choice of destination?

Howdy

I am from Texas and will be using my car in college in New York. I was wondering whether it matters what dealership i order the car from for ED. For example, can i work out the negotiations and payment for the car over the phone and fax with the dealership in (totally random) Alaska, pick up the car in germany, and have it delivered to New York? That way, i can get competitive pricing across the entire nation. Thanks.

I believe that is considered a "courtesy" delivery and there are some posts here and there about it, try a search. The bottom line is yes you can do that for a fee just like everything else!!

Yes, but I would just buy it from the dealer in NY. Courtesy delivery fee would usually would wipe out most of the savings. Try the board sponsor Carbon BMW

would be greatly appreciated, as without them, this site wouldn't be here.

i bought from Joern in Maryland (passport bmw)....and had the car delivered to Texas...

i think it cost $350 for the courtesy delivery...but Joern said that it's usually $500....it depends on the recieving dealership...
