Well, I've been cruising these forums for a couple of months now and just completed a deal (over the phone) for an ED on a 530i. Target date for pick-up now is set for
Oct. 7th. I tried to negotiate a deal in person with my local dealer earlier today. The sales associate tried his best and seemed to want to swing the deal but the Sales Manager
was not interested at all. It's a shame because the sales guy was great. Anyway the next step was to get on the phone with another dealer in my state who had been listed as a dealer who liked to do ED. That was
Matt Hoffman at Daytona BMW who, by the way,
has just been promoted to Sales manager. He was
friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and
willing to write a great deal (less than I offered the local guys). If you are looking to do
ED, this dealer comes highly recommended by me. It was a pleasure striking a deal there.

None the less I would like to give an update (which may be of interest to those looking to do an ED deal in Florida). I ended up breaking my deal with Matt at Daytona BMW. ( My sincerest apologies to Matt. He is a super guy and offered me a great deal). It's just that I got a comparable great deal offered from a dealer almost 2 hrs closer to my home. They are also offering valet delivery of a loaner vehicle to my home when it needs service. So along with Matt at Daytona BMW, lets add John Ley of Fields BMW in Lakeland to the list of Florida Dealers willing to offer great ED deals.
