What is the usual timing for getting confirmation from BMW of an ED pick up date? I ordered almost three weeks ago and requested a pickup date in late September. I am getting very anxious to make hotel and plane reservations since my requested pick up date is during Oktoberfest.

?? Usually you know within a few days, have you talked to your dealer lately? They probably just assumed you know its the date you picked. You don't get anything from BMW on this.

I spoke with him last week and he did not receive a confirmation yet. I'm afraid that ordering Comfort Access for a late September pick up may be causing an issue.

Comfort access is a September SOP item. You will not be able to do an ED for late september pick-up w/ comfort access. I could be wrong, but don't bet on it

I agree with all the replies here especially Master Bee. I am thinking maybe they won't even build ED cars with CA until Oct.
For example I am doing ED on a 330xi and wanted mid-Oct originally and was told no earlier than 1st or 2nd week of Nov to be safe. because they won't produce AWD ED cars until Oct. However, my CA got a response from BMWNA within about 4 business days that mid-Oct was "no-go." I gave them a mid-Nov date and they ok'd within 48 hours.

I ordered my E90 for for ED about two weeks ago, and had a confirmation of my Sept. 13th delivery date within about one week. But I did not order comfort access...

They probably just assumed you know its the date you picked. You don't get anything from BMW on this.
