Arrive at 10am, Factory Tour at 2pm, Possible??
We are scheduled to arrive in Munich on Friday the 15th at 10:00 am and have a factory tour scheduled for 2:00 PM in Dingolfin. Does anyone know if I will make it on time??

Arrive = 10am Deplane / customs / baggage claim = 11am SBahn/UBahn directly to Delivery Center = 12pm Car pickup / paperwork (you eat lunch while they get everything ready) = 1pm Drive to Dingolfing = 2pm
There may be a better/faster way from the airport to the Delivery Center, others can give you more info on this. We took the SBahn to our hotel from the airport and it worked great. SBahn/UBahn Map You will need to take the S8 (not the S1) to Marienplatz and then transfer to the U6 to Freimann. According the Munich MVV site the trip should take just about an hour via the train (do more options and exclude busses) but I would put in your expected travel date/time and make sure.
I would strongly recommend that you call the Delivery Center ahead of time (probably to Bernard) and tell him that you should be arriving to pick up your car around noon and that you have an appointment for the factory tour at 2pm at Dingolfing. It probably won't hurt to call again to confirm from the airport while you are waiting for your baggage.
Dingolfing is not that close, probably an hour away from the Delivery Center. But it is pretty much all unlimited autobahn and there shouldn't be much traffic in the middle of the day.
We did the tour at Dingolfing. Highly recommended.
P.S. The first thing they do before the actual tour is a 15 minute video. The video is just ok. Assuming they still let you go on the rest of the tour if you are 5 min late you won't be missing much.

We were almost 20 min late for the tour and we got to see the last 5 minutes of the movie and joined the tour no problem. The actual walking part of the tour didn't start until 2:25 or 2:30. We did call from the car to let them know we were running late.
It's an amazing tour.....no car painting like in Munich but the assembly lines with 5/6/7 series moving all around you is like nothing else!!!
