 Pickup procedure

I'm scheduling delivery for late August and I'm trying to set up my itinerary. My flight arrives in Munich at 8:30 am. Is there enough time to pick up the car the same day? How long does it take?
Thanks

If you get in at 8:30 you have time to:

1. go to your hotel
2. take a shower
3. have lunch
4. go to the delivery center

Agreed. Ample time. Clearing immigration and getting to your hotel should not take long. Probably mid-morning into shower. Go get car in afternoon. The pickup shouldn't take more than an hour or so (and that assumes some waiting). If you get there early afternoon (1pm) you should have absolutely no problem.

that said, if you have the time and are planning to be in Munich beyond that first day, I would wait until the next day to get your car.

Skip the lunch, there's a free one at the delivery center. Not the best food in town but the meal is included so why not? They haven't done away with the meal have they?

Yes they still have the free food and drinks. Does it take the place of a good German lunch? Um.....no.

I'd venture to say it doesn't take the place of a bad German, or bad American lunch. I'd liken it to coach-class fare on domestic airlines. Beer excepted, or course. It may work, but I'd rather explore other culinary delights in Germany.
